Pearls of Wisdom

Both of my Grandmothers are very talented bakers and I have grown up being surrounded by all of their gorgeous treats. I must have have their genes as 3 years ago I got hooked on baking!
When my Granny Daisy heard that I was loving it so much, and am dreaming of turning it into a small business, she passed all her baking tools onto me.
Every time a bake I use something that was once hers and it makes my baking so special!
I was recently home for a long weekend and got to spend some precious time with all of my grans.
Granny Daisy spent the night and so I had some time to twist her ear and get some industry tips and advice!
I can not wait to get back into the kitchen and give all of these tips and tricks a go!

Trav's Cake Pops

My little brother (well not so little) just turned 23 and I headed home for the long weekend to see my family and help celebrate. Now I wanted to take some treats down since I never get to bake for them and my brothers favourite colour is green hence the inspiration for green and chocolote cake pops with a little colour surprise inside.

Cake pops seem to be the next big thing hitting the baking world and the are so much fun and easy to make plus if you are arranging a sweet table, at any event, they bring such a different dynamic.

My sister and her boyfriend enjoying the cake pops and showing off the coloured centers!
